Liberty Village Building Types

Loft conversions tend to have narrower hallways (sometimes 36 inches wide) and older freight elevators. Newer towers have modern service elevators and wider corridors. When booking, mention the building name and I can usually tell you what to expect before arrival.

Elevator Access

In the older loft buildings, freight elevator windows can be short — sometimes 2 hours at a time, shared with the building. For a large furniture order, confirm the window with your building management before scheduling assembly. Arriving to find the elevator booked until 4pm means an afternoon of carrying pieces up stairs.

Newer Liberty Village towers (like the ones on East Liberty) have standard service elevator booking similar to King West — 24-hour advance booking, full day windows available on weekdays.

Common Jobs

Liberty Village has a high concentration of creative professionals and remote workers — home office setups are one of the most common requests here. Desk assembly, monitor arm installation, floating shelf installation for storage, and standing desk setups come up regularly.

Loft units also tend to have higher ceilings (10–14 ft) which means tall bookshelves, high art mounting, and curtain rod installation at non-standard heights are more common than in regular condo towers.
